  • General Signage Worker

Job specifications for each role:

Sign Fitter

Experienced sign fitter to join our team – ideally 5 years + experience. We currently have 2 in-house crews and would like to add to the team to create more flexibility. We install all across the UK and occasionally beyond – Ireland / near parts of Europe. The majority of jobs are one day installations although they can run into a few days on some larger jobs. So sometimes staying out overnight is needed – on average 15-20 nights over an entire year. Of course, night work is sometimes needed for our customers. Again around 20 nights over a year period. The usual work though will involve early starts, so that you are on site somewhere in the UK between 7am and 8am.

Installation work will include: internally illuminated fascia signs, flex face signs, simple aluminium trays, trough lighting, projection signs, vinyls, hoarding graphics, internal signs – illuminated and non-illuminated, occasional neon signs, often LED signs. Some maintenance work and surveys.

Initially this role will be to work with the other crews, covering holidays / illness – and helping with surveys or handling one-man jobs. Or, if we can find a suitable mate, as a full crew.

The individual will be good at working at heights, working long hours, have a good driving record and relevant qualifications: PASMA, IPAF, CSCS, Asbestos Awareness, First Aider

The successful candidate must be physically fit, be positive and willing to dig in and get on.

The salary for this role is dependent on experience.
