A Refined Signage Scheme for Free People Antwerp
Northampton Signs recently completed a detailed signage package for Free People Antwerp, helping bring the brand’s soft, elegant and contemporary retail identity to its Belgium store. The project combined illuminated signage, decorative window detailing and branded internal graphics to create a cohesive finish across the storefront and interior areas.
Illuminated Storefront Branding
A key part of the project was the main external Free People lettering, designed with a refined illuminated effect to give the entrance a warm and premium appearance. The lettering was finished in a dark tone with frosted acrylic and internal lighting, creating a subtle glow that works beautifully against the character of the building and the store’s architectural surroundings.
Projection Sign and Wall Plaque
The external signage also included a projecting Free People sign and a wall-mounted plaque, both produced to complement the brand’s understated style. The use of dark finishes, gold-effect detailing and warm illumination helped create a high-end look while keeping the signage sympathetic to the historic exterior of the store.
Window Graphics and Decorative Manifestations
Alongside the main signs, the project included window-applied branding and decorative Dabu pattern manifestations. These elements added privacy, detail and visual interest to the glazing while maintaining the soft retail aesthetic associated with Free People. The graphics were applied across both external and internal glazing areas to create a consistent branded experience.
Interior Signage Details
The scope also extended inside the store, with decorative patterned graphics applied to internal balustrade areas. This helped carry the Free People Antwerp design language through the space, linking the exterior signage with the interior environment for a complete and polished finish.
